| Dalaiwood-The
Course
Dalaiwood is a grand course located in Olalla, Washington about one hour
from Seattle. It has a full 18 permanent holes and is located on private
property in a very rural
community. This course was designed with the thought of total fairness for
both right and left handed players and also a balance between open and
wooded shots. There are two positions for the pins making the course play
both long and short. The short course is a modest 4063 feet while the long
course is only 4575 feet. However, both layouts will mainly challenge your
accuracy but also your patience. Some of the top pros in the world only
managed to score a 48 on the short course. Please look below to see each
hole!
Oh yeah...You are probably wondering how we came to the name of Dalaiwood
for our course. Well, if you ever come on out you will see first hand.
Dalai is the name of our really shy llama. Since he has lived at the course
longer than we have, we thought it was only fair that we give him props and
name it after him. In May of 2002, two new llamas, Cinco and Sterling,
arrived and now call Dalaiwood home. Unfortunately, early in 2006 the
llama's found a new home in Belfair. They did drop us a line to let us
know that they miss all of the disc golfers and their funny faces them make
putting!
